Chris Bath (born 13 May 1967) is an Australian journalist, radio and television presenter and news anchor. She is best known for presenting shows like Seven News, Sunday Night, 10 News First Weekend, and ABC Radio Sydney.
Bath has presented for Network 10 and acted in the films The Man Who Sued God (2001), Open Water 3: Cage Dive (2017), and All Saints (1998). She is a Celebrity Ambassador for the Petrea King Quest for Life Foundation.

Early Life
Chris Bath was born on 13 May 1967 in Auburn in Sydney’s western suburbs to Don and Maureen Bath and grew up in South Wentworthville. She has a younger sister, Katherine.
As a teenager, she was feisty and gave her mother a hard time, but her dad was always the voice of reason. She was close to her grandparents on her dad’s side and spent a lot of time with them growing up.
Education
Bath attended Holroyd High School. She studied English, psychology, German, and legal institutions at Sydney University but left after two months.
She studied communications at Bathurst’s Mitchell College (now Charles Sturt University). She won a scholarship and majored in politics.
Career
Bath began to work at a Surry Hills-based restaurant and joined Kmart, Merrylands, as a trainee manager. While studying, she worked at the campus radio station 2MCE-FM. In 1988, she landed a job at 2UE as a cadet reporter and newsreader.
She spent eight years reporting and anchoring news at Prime TV Albury and NBN TV Newcastle until the Seven Network recruited her in 1996.
Chris spent 20 years at Seven, hosting Sunday Night and reading network news, anchoring live coverage of major events like natural disasters, elections, Olympics, bombings, Royal weddings, and more.

Chris Bath married composer Denis Carnahan in 1997 and had a son, Darcy, in 2000. The couple separated in 2008 after ten years of marriage.
In January 2012, Bath married sports presenter Jim Wilson in an intimate ceremony in Wollombi, Hunter Valley, after a three-year romance, with only 19 guests in attendance. The duo was featured in New Idea magazine in August 2013.
Her father, Don, passed away in 2022 after a 14-year battle with a series of devastating strokes.
