Adam Dovile (born 20 January 1983) is a builder, TV Presenter, and reality star. He is best known for appearing in the Seven Network’s reality TV show House Rules.
The 41-year-old won season two of House Rules in 2014, with his wife Lisa. He became the go-to for DIY projects on Channel Seven’s Better Homes and Garden in 2015.
Adam Dovile is the resident builder on Channel Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens.

Early Life
Adam Dovile was born on 20 January 1983. He grew up in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia with a close-knit, hard-working Italian family. He worked in a pizza shop owned by his parents after he discovered his passion for working with hands.
After deciding to pursue a carpentry trade, Dovile gained his unlimited building licence for domestic building in 2011 and qualified as a carpenter in 2015.
Career
Dovile worked in his family pizza shop and as a delivery boy for a florist on the weekends. He launched his television career in 2014 after entering season two of House Rules, alongside his wife. He walked away mortgage-free as the winner of the show.
The reality star joined Better Homes and Garden in 2015. He won the fan-voted 2016 Logie Award for Best New Talent.
He traded his DIY tools for dance shoes after joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars in 2024, without dance experience. After weeks of training, he and his dance partner Jessica Raffa performed the Jive as their first dance.
Adam Dovile continued to run Building projects through his business ASD Constructions. He and his wife are supporters of the charity Habitat for Humanity. They visited Nepal, under the charity’s guidance, to help in building houses with 40 families benefiting.

Personal Life
Adam Dovile married Lisa Lamond in a beautiful ceremony in front of family and friends at a gorgeous estate in Victoria in May 2015. The duo shares two daughters, Arabella and Ruby.
The couple had their first daughter, Arabella, in May 2016 and their second daughter, Ruby in 2017. They sold their House Rules home because they needed more space for their daughters.
When Dovile is not filming and renovating, he cherishes family time – taking his girls for bike rides and plays at the park. He is a Collingwood football tragic and has a dog, Buckley.
At 18, Dovile had a road accident that destroyed his car. He had saved since he was thirteen to buy his dream car.
