Felix Cameron was born in 2009 in Melbourne, Australia. He comes from a creative family and has been around acting. His father, Colin Cameron, is a corporate MC, entertainment consultant, and business developer, while his mother, Sharni Page, is an acting coach and creative healer.
The Boy Swallows Universe star is athletic. He engages in sports and physical activities – cricket, basketball, and AFL football. He looks forward to merging acting and sport in future roles.
Career
Cameron is a television and film actor, entertainer, artist, and performer. At age five, he started doing voiceover work.
Felix is famous for playing Eli Bell in the hit Netflix series Boy Swallows Universe, which premiered on 11 January 2024. He appeared in five episodes of the show during its first season. It was based on a novel by Trent Dalton about a Brisbane family torn apart by a drug lord.
At 10, the young actor made his feature film debut alongside Naomi Watts in the movie Penguin Bloom (2020). He portrayed Watts’ character’s son, Reuben.
Cameron starred in a Toyota commercial in 2021. He performed the song Ruby Tuesday on an episode of Boy Swallows Universe. He bagged the 2024 TV Week Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent and Lead Actor in a Drama. He is the youngest Logie winner in the history of the ceremonies.
Though Cameron is new to showbiz, he handled his speeches like a pro. He thanked his friends, family, brother, sister, mother, father, and drama teacher, Nadia Townsend. He was up against his co-star, Lee Tiger Halley.
Felix Cameron is starring as Xavier in the Australian production of Stan’s series Good Cop/Bad Cop, set for release in 2025. In 2024, he signed on with Artist International Group (AIG).
