Holly Kingston was born in January 1994 in New South Wales. She had a privileged childhood until her parents separated, which came with financial stress. She did not speak with her father for about seven to eight years.
Kingston joined her mother to clean houses in her early teen years after losing their family home after her parents split. She and her mother turned to house-sitting websites for accommodation. She continued schooling in a private school.

Shortly after the end of The Bachelor, Holly and Jimmy moved into an apartment together in North Bondi.
Holly Kingston married the pilot Jimmy Nicholson in a beach-side ceremony at Jimmy’s parents’ home in Palm Beach. The reception was at Northern Beaches restaurant in Pasadena. They are the fifth couple to tie the knot in the Australian Bachelor franchise.
The duo met and fell in love during season nine of The Bachelor in 2021. They moved in together after Jimmy purchased a $1.42million apartment in North Bondi.
