Career
Mia Glover started working as an on-road reporter and breakfast news presenter for i98FM and WIN Television. She became the News Presenter for Sydney’s top FM radio stations.
While at WSFM & KIISFM, Glover covered many breaking stories, such as the Bali Nine executions, the death of cricketer Phillip Hughes, and the Lindt Cafe siege.
In 2015, Glover discovered her passion for television journalism. She joined WIN News Canberra and later 9News Gold Coast. Her reports covered court cases, crime, and natural disasters. She covered the Cyclone Debbie and the Dreamworld tragedy.
Glover became the news and weather presenter, a role she still fills. In March 2018, she became a senior reporter at 9News Brisbane. She covered high-profile cases and trials, such as the pivotal Dreamworld inquest.
The Gold Coast reporter started working for Today in 2020. She delivered compelling reports on Brisbane’s 2022 floods. She also flew to Rome to cover Qantas’ historic direct flights from Australia to Italy.
Mia Glover joined the 9News Queensland weekend bulletin at 6.00 pm in February 2023. She has spent most of her career with the 9Network. She became a reporter for the 9News Gold Coast newsroom in 2016 and joined the 9News Brisbane newsroom two years later.
Personal Life
Mia Glover is married to Paul Glover, with whom she shares a young son, Albert. They celebrated nine years together in October 2019 and 6th wedding anniversary in 2021.
Her toddler visited her while presenting a field report in Queensland in August 2023. She announced her boy was having horrible fevers and a nasty rash in October 2020.
In June 2024, Viewers raised concerns about Mia Glover after she appeared on the breakfast program Today with a ‘drooping’ eye and swollen cheek.
Mia Glover is based in the Gold Coast, Queensland and has a dog.
